A new drivers mate position has arisen with The Best Connection Hanger Lane, working in partnership with John Lewis in Park Royal.
Job Details:
You will be with a van driver:
- Delivery of white goods (large electrical goods used domestically such as refrigerators and washing machines)
- Carrying white goods through tight spaces and in and out of homes
- Heavy lifting will be expected throughout the day
The job is 4 out of 6 days on a rota basis across Monday to Saturday
Calling customers prior to delivery to notify them you are arriving or are on your way.
Using company device to input information throughout the day and contact the warehouse.
- 45min break deducted
- 11 hour shifts (10.25 hours paid, 0.75 rest)
- Am shift 06:00 to 17:00 (6am start on Saturday) - £12.95ph
- AM shift after 41 hours - £19.42
- PM shift 10:30 to 21:30 (7am start on Saturday) - £13.30ph
- PM shift after 41 hours - £20.25
*WITH THE PM SHIFT YOU MAY WORK FRIDAY AND SATURDAY MEANING YOU WILL GO FINISH ON FRIDAY AT 21:30 AND BE NEEDED BACK SATURDAY 7AM
Requirements:
- Previous experience in drivers mate & customer service
- High level of English needed
- Need to be physically fit ( will be lifting white goods up multiple flights of stairs with your driver )
- Must pass company assessment prior to commencing job ( Interview, Manual handling assessment)
