Your role will see you: Setting the behaviours, values, and culture for effective cross functional working, with direct leadership of clinical service delivery across the region. Developing internal and external patient pathways and SOPs in line with organisational/commissioner requirements, DHU performance and contractual requirements. Supporting the Regional Clinical Director, Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team, including the service development team, in securing the organic growth of UEC and Primary Care by expanding services that are provided across DHU, including the design, development and mobilisation or transformation of innovative new services that are commercially viable for commissioning by the NHS. Monitoring expenditure against budgets to ensure the achievement of financial targets in line with the clinical workforce, taking appropriate action to resolve any budgetary issues and submit appropriate options proposals for executive review or authorisation. Line management of senior clinicians and as a key leader, consistently demonstrating DHUs values and behaviours. We will need you to demonstrate the following essential criteria: Experience of managing and delivering high quality services within a healthcare setting. Evidence of successful working across whole organisational teams. MRCGP, valid registration with the GMC license to practice. Relevant experience as a senior GP. Professional / Clinical qualification desirable with evidence of ongoing professional development. Proficient in MS applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, databases.
