Summary
Echo House is a market leader specialising in Creative & Technical Design, Artworking, Digital Content, Printing, Experiential Brand Activation, and Sustainable Production.
The role of the packaging and logistics operative is a very diverse role that requires a hands-on approach with a can do attitude.
The role will include but not limited to:
• collating and packing of luxury graphics following Echos procedures on appropriate packaging.
• Use the WMS (warehouse management system) to track jobs coming into the department.
• Assist with organising of goods-in using the appropriate machinery, which will include assisting the forklift operative. Arranging storage of items, and barcoding the relevant items for future use. This will be required at our London warehouse but also on occasion at our Alton warehouse.
• Assisting the drivers with loading their vans and dispatching of parcels.
• Carry out other duties such as the clearing the yard area where we control/recycle the waste produced from the building.
It is essential that you adapt quickly to new tasks and be used to working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines alongside other departments. You may also be asked to assist drivers with deliveries or help pack late jobs, so there will be a requirement to be flexible in working outside of core hours if required.
NB This role is a physically demanding role due to the above tastes. The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the role with or without a reasonable accommodation.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
UNIVERSAL

CORE KNOWLEDGE BASE
• Packing of large amounts of products
• Warehouse experience
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Forklift licence (desirable)
• Clean driving licence (Essential)
• Banksman trained (desirable)
MAIN DUTIES:
• Work with production managers to package and collate jobs.
• Cleaning of production floor, extension, storage, and the yard.
• Assist with organisation of goods in and goods out.
• Carry out daily forklift duties (training will be provided)
• Retrieving/placing items in and out of Storage.
• Use of WMS (Warehouse management systems)
• Booking on stock/deliveries and then putting them away.
• Banksman for delivery trucks.
• Carry out ad hoc requests for other departments as and when required.
GENERAL
