About Morley College London
Established in 1889, and with our roots stretching back even further, Morley College London is one of the country's oldest and largest specialist providers of adult education.
With teaching centres both north and south of the river, ours is one of London’s broadest adult learning offers – from 16-18 courses at North Kensington, to creative specialisms at Chelsea, to a kaleidoscopic short course offer at Waterloo. There really is something for everyone.
We are one of only nine Specialist Designated Institutions (SDIs) in the UK, and everything we do is underpinned by our mission to empower individuals and strengthen communities through education in Arts, Culture and Applied Sciences.
Whether studying for personal development and well-being, to gain essential skills (English, Maths, IT), to access higher education, or for career development or change, our vision is for ambitions to be inspired and achieved through learning.
Morley College London aims to have a workforce that is as reflective of the diverse population that it serves. The College particularly encourages applications from ethnic minorities and disabled people who are currently under-represented within the College at this level.
As well as joining a creative, innovative leading college focused on social justice and providing excellent teaching and learning opportunities for all, there are plenty of other rewards for working at Morley College London:
Generous annual leave allowance (30 days) plus Bank Holidays
Christmas closure period
Excellent pension scheme with generous employer contributions
Access to an employee retail savings platform, offering significant discounts at most major retailers
100% discount on the cost of undertaking a Morley short course of your choice
Season ticket loans and cycle to work scheme
On site cafeterias
A busy events calendar, offering you the chance to attend regular Morley creative exhibitions, student awards, dances, concerts and more
A lovely work environment, surrounded by creative arts, music and friendly, helpful colleagues
