Senior Quantity Surveyor

Role: Senior QS
Location: Dover Eastern Docks
Pay Rate: Refer to Randstad
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Freelance

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of quantity surveying.
- Liaising with clients and ensuring all work requirements are met.
- Oversee cost reconciliations, applications and valuations.
- Cost control and forecasting, monthly reports on information(value, cost, profit/loss, cash flow)
- Maintain positivity within the workplace, provide open and accurate feedback.
- Supply chain management.
- Assisting with risk and value management to optimize solutions and review with the team.
- Contract management - including all relevant contract forms, methods and budget control and regular software applications.
- Support preparation of subcontract enquiries, negotiate and set up contracts.
- Ensuring all documents and information are up to date.
- Ensure all safety risk situations are known by all site management.
- Ongoing liaison with site team, subcontractors and clients representatives.
- Providing correct contractual advice to the site team.
- Ensure all steps to confidentiality and private information sensitivity.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- CSCS
- First Aid
- Experience in Civils, groundworks.
