A Vacancy at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.


This is a unique opportunity to join a renowned Integrated Inflammatory bowel disease clinical and research unit at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. This unit has national and international reputation for high quality personalised clinical care, high impact research programmes.

The post is available at advanced fellow/Registrar level. The post combines clinical IBD with research. You will be able to work in a well-functioning multidisciplinary team environment and receive exposure to complex IBD management, clinical and translational research and ability to network with leaders in IBD nationally and internationally. This will be also suitable for Post-CCT Fellowship for suitable successful applicant. The post will be under the supervision of Professor Sebastian working within the IBD service in the department of gastroenterology.



Position is for 1 year in the first instance may be extend to 2 years subject to annual review depended upon satisfactory work and progress. It is essential for the applicants to have MRCP UK or equivalent, are on GMC register with licence to practice or are eligible for the same. The post may carry partial recognition for Higher Specialist Training.

The post will have clinical commitment up to six clinical sessions including IBD clinics and Endoscopy . The rest of sessions will be dedicated to IBD research.
