About the Role:

As an Agency Health Care Assistant, you will:

Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support clients in managing their medication, as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being.
Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
Help maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients.
Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

· Ideally, 6 months’ experience in care or similar roles.

Training

(Can explore providing refresher training if necessary)

· Care Certificate

· Valid Mandatory Training

· Basic Life Support Training

· Moving Handling Training

· PMVA Training

Skills & Qualities

· Care and Compassion! (Required!)

· The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

· Good problem-solving and time management skills.

· Empathy, patience, and emotional resilience.

Preferred

Driving Licence: A full, valid UK driving licence (required)
Access to Own Vehicle
Update Service Enhanced DBS: Can explore applying for one if necessary.
