Security Loss Prevention Officer
Location: Ikea Southampton
Pay rate: £12.00 Hours: Full time hours 40 hours 5 days over 7 including weekends (Free Parking and great access by Public Transport)
Job Overview:
Mitie is looking for a Retail Loss Prevention Officer for a prestigious client in the Southampton area who can deliver exceptional customer service whilst creating a safe and secure shopping environment for all.
A full background check will be completed including a full 5-year employment/education history.
Ideally you will already hold an SIA licence including CCTV, however, SIA training can be provided for the successful candidate. Main duties: · To deliver industry leading customer service and maintain a uniformed presence to deter criminal activity.
Work with the on-site risk and compliance team to detect criminal activity, remove ASB, and carry out control room duties as required. Liaise with the on-site Risk Management Team, you will contribute towards creating a risk aware culture by also actioning incident reports, deal with customer enquiries, and work with local authorities.
The ideal candidate will already have experience working within a fast-paced environment and has experience working in loss prevention and security.
Previous experience working with NVR CCTV, fire, intruder, access control, and BMS systems is desirable.
Knowledge of ASCONE, PACE, and safe working practices is also desirable.
