Newcastle College is seeking an experienced and dynamic leader for their Health and Science Curriculum.
As Head of Curriculum, you'll be at the forefront of leadership, responsible for driving continuous improvement and exceeding key performance indicators. Your duties will include staff development and performance management, stakeholder engagement, curriculum development, and ensuring excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.
Your leadership will be instrumental in aligning our curriculum with local needs, addressing regional skills gaps, and fostering collaboration both within and outside the college. Managing budgets effectively, forging external partnerships, and promoting civic commitment will be integral aspects of your role.
Our Health and Science department boasts exceptional facilities and a dedicated team committed to nurturing students' talents and preparing them for success in their chosen industries. Situated within the vibrant Faculty of Health, Science and Welfare, this role offers ample opportunities for cross-faculty collaboration and professional growth.

We're seeking a candidate with substantial experience in the Health and/or Science sector, coupled with a proven track record of team management in an educational setting. Exceptional organisational skills and a comprehensive understanding of FE funding, compliance, and delivery is essential.
