Crynodeb
This role involves assisting with all aspects of Imaging including preparing patients for examinations, helping to position patients for examinations and assisting with interventional procedures.
The role is very much patient focused so the successful candidate will have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate care and empathy to those who are unwell or distressed, helping them through the Imaging process.
The post holder will contribute to the provision of a high standard of care for patients and carry out some duties unaided, in accordance with Trust/Directorate policy, at the discretion of qualified staff.
To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUH’s ‘PRIDE’ values of People focused, Respect, Dedication, Integrity and Excellence.
This is role will rotate on a roster basis throughout the department including MRI, CT, Plain Film, Ultrasound and Antenatal Ultrasound. The rotation will include shifts at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and Cromer District Hospital and the new Community Diagnostic Centre.
There will be an expectation to work 12.5 hour shifts which cover the 24-hour period including night shifts, over seven days of the week, inclusive of Bank Holidays.
