Brampton Stables are looking for someone to join their team on a Level 2 Equine Groom apprenticeship - riding pathway.
They are a well-established riding school looking for someone to come and work with the existing team to take part in general yard duties.
Training will be given on-site with their internal and external coaches, supported by a designated Trainer Coach from Haddon Training..
Additional qualifications can be taken including first aid and safeguarding.
The apprenticeship gives you a chance to earn whilst working towards an industry recognised qualification, with no day release needed because all training takes place at the yard within your working hours.
Training
All training will be provided at the employer's premises with guidance from the employer and Haddon Training.
You will be working towards the level 2 Equine Groom apprenticeship.
You will also be supported to work towards gaining Functional Skills qualifications in maths and/ or English at Level 1 or 2 if required.
Qualifications required
A level 4 or above in maths and English GCSEs is desirable but not essential. If you don't have these grades, we will closely support you to gain them through recognised Functional Skills qualifications.
Skills required
Previous experience with horses is desired, but not essential.
Prospects
There is opportunity to progress onto the level 3 apprenticeship and work through the BHS stages, including teaching.
