Functional Skills English Lecturer needed in West London Paying £21.23 per hr ref 005196

Full time hours on a temporary basis

Role Overview: Plan, deliver, assess, evaluate, and manage classroom activities to maximize learners’ achievement and success.

Teaching Duties (Contact Time):
1. Teach a diverse programme to enhance learners’ success.
2. Set and monitor learning outcomes, assessing and recording progress.
3. Provide guidance and assessment to support learners’ progress.
4. Ensure proper enrolment and report attendance and achievements.
5. Ensure visitors comply with service policies.
Other Duties (Non-Contact Time):
1. Prepare and assess learners for successful programme completion.
2. Provide necessary information for exams and accreditation.
3. Develop courses aligned with service objectives.
4. Share course information with interested parties.
5. Stay updated on professional developments and participate in CPD.
6. Attend and contribute to team and service meetings.
7. Participate in service-wide initiatives and events.
8. Contribute to the annual professional cover duty rota.
9. Support Quality Improvement strategies and the self-assessment cycle.
