Main duties
-Provide routine advice and support to managers and staff on the effective implementation of company policies, procedures and best practice.
-Assist with day to day activities and the preparation of documentation to ensure company standards and best practice procedures are met.
-Liaise with stakeholders to ensure all department information is up to date and verified where necessary.
· Produce and distribute, as required, documents and information, often of a confidential and sensitive nature, in a timely manner consistent with company standards of efficiency and accuracy.
· Create and maintain manual and computer records and files such that records are up to date and information can be accessed readily.
-Create and maintain logs and action plans as necessary.
-Create, maintain, and reference referrals and issues coming into department.
-Prepare documentation and evidence for visits, inspections, and audits.
· Maintain comprehensive stocks of all forms and documentation required so that it is available when required.
· Maintain version control and review schedules for relevant documentation.
· Assist in the generation and presentation of reports.
· Create schedules to facilitate departmental activities in a timely fashion and administer to these.
· Support the wider administrative team, undertaking duties as required, to assist in the smooth running of the Centre.
Person Specification
· Previous administrative experience is required - preferably in an operational environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel.
Health and Safety responsibilities
· Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times;
· Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment;
· Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received;
· Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system;
Information Security
· Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities;
· Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager;
· Report actual and suspected security incidents;
