WR Fundraising Recruitment has an amazing opportunity to work with the inspiring Harpenden Mencap as their new Fundraising Manager.
Harpenden Mencap is a well-established charity based in Hertfordshire who have been committed to providing crucial services for adults of all ages with learning disabilities since 1959. Harpenden Mencap offer a range of services from residential services to lively social clubs.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Fundraising professional to get stuck into a blank canvas and generate new source of income from any of the following Trusts and Foundations, Individual Giving, Major Donors, Corporate Partnerships, Community and events
This is an excellent opportunity for a fantastic Fundraising professional to get their teeth stuck into some new income streams and make a real impact for a wonderful charity.
Fundraiser Manager
Harpenden, Hertfordshire with very Flexible Hybrid Working
Full-time – Permanent
Up To £40,000 on experience
Duties will include:
• Approach and build relationships with the supporter and donors within the local community
• Building new and sustainable income streams that will allow the charity to progressing forward.
• Work closely with a highly motivated team of trustees and volunteers
• Develop a portfolio of events (including challenge events)
• Working with the CEO to write and submit compelling funding applications
Ideal Candidate will have:
• A track record in fundraising across income streams. Preferably 2 or more of the following – Community, Events, Corporate Partnerships, major donors or trusts and foundations
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Experience in cultivating donors though to a gift and providing excellent stewardship.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Ability to work as part of a small team
