You will liaise with various stakeholders including landlords, tenants, and community organizations to foster collaboration and ensure smooth resolution processes. Responsibilities
Assist clients in resolving housing-related issues and disputes.
Conduct thorough assessments of individual cases and determine appropriate support services.
Provide advice on tenant rights and available housing options.
Collaborate with landlords and tenants to negotiate resolutions and settlements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case documentation and records.
Develop and deliver workshops and informational sessions on housing rights and resources.
Work closely with local agencies and organizations to facilitate client referrals and support.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, public policy, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in housing assistance or social services.
Strong understanding of housing laws and tenant rights.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage caseloads effectively and prioritize tasks under pressure.
Proficient in using case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compassionate approach to client service with a focus on problem-solving.
