University College London Hospitals is seeking to appoint a full-time clinical fellow in adult inherited metabolic disease for 1-year fixed term contract within the Charles Dent Metabolic Unit based at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square.

This post would be suited to an individual in their final year of training in medical speciality, chemical pathology / metabolic medicine, or medical genetics (UK or equivalent overseas training), or who has completed training, and who has a serious interest in pursuing a career to become a consultant in adult inherited metabolic disease and wishes to increase their clinical experience in a large and busy unit.

The Clinical Fellow’s job plan is expected to comprise 40 hours per week.
The majority of the job plan - for Activities related to direct patient care - follows a team-based approach.

Working from home, on days without clinical commitments may be possible, but on-site presence is expected at least 3 days per week.
