JOB OVERVIEWAt Kent College, Canterbury, we are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Cover Assistant/Librarian who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills to cover the Senior School Library one day a week.The Cover Assistant/Librarian will supervise the use of the library with groups of students, as well as supervise our Sixth Form students during their study periods, and will ensure an atmosphere conducive to study.The successful candidate should be self-motivated, have the ability to work well in a busy environment, and be able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff at all levels.WHY CHOOSE US
Kent College is a co-educational school with a Methodist foundation. The school is located in Canterbury, just one hour from the centre of London by train. The Senior School (11 – 18 years) has some 600 boys and girls, approximately one-third boarding and two-thirds day.
