Job details
The One Leisure Active Lifestyles team provides an extensive physical activity programme focussing on getting individuals more active and reducing inactivity levels across the district. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about keeping the residents of Huntingdonshire active to join the team.

We have 2 roles within the team, both 37 hours per week, one permanent and one 12-month fixed-term contract. Please specify which you are applying for in your application.

The individual should ideally possess a Level 3 Exercise Referral Qualification, with Level 3 or Level 4 specialist population qualifications and extensive experience of delivering and developing physical activity opportunities to these population groups.

You will:

undertake sessions on a 1-1 basis

teach group exercise within a leisure centre, community venue or care home

promote, advocate, and foster a ‘health and wellbeing’ community and

help us to celebrate our successes.

An assured, confident manner, a flexible approach, a source of new innovative ideas, and excellent administrative skills with an attention to detail are essential. As is the ability to build effective relationships in this customer facing delivery role.

Above all, it is essential that you demonstrate behaviours in line with our values and passion and a commitment to continually seek to innovate and develop our workforce, which will, in turn, enable us to succeed in our strategic ambitions.
