The post holder will assist the Ward Manager in the provision of a clean, well maintained ward area with effective stock ordering and rotation, appropriate management and escalation of equipment and estates issues which require attention or repair together with effective escalation of concerns related to cleaning and catering. The post holder will suport the Ward Managerin supporting patient experience initiatives on the ward, assisting with data collection, sinage and displays of data findingsas directed. The post holder will work closely with the Ward Manager, Ward clerk and members of the multi- disaplinary teamto provide a well maintained and presented ward which provides a welcoming environment to children and their families.

Patients across north east London are benefitting from two new state of the art theatres at KGH and our Community Diagnostic Centres at Barking Community Hospital and St George’s Health and Wellbeing Hub will significantly increase the number of scans that can be carried out.

We’re looking forward to introducing an electronic patient record next year. This will mean the records of any patient visiting one of the seven hospitals run by BHRUT and Barts Health will be accessible to the clinical teams. It’ll make things easier for staff and will be better for patients.
