Job Title: Head of People and Culture

Hours: Up to 36.25 hours per week

Main duties and responsibilities
The Head of People & Culture leads on the departmental strategic efforts to provide an exceptional staff experience at uea(su), in turn facilitating enhanced student involvement and a vibrant university experience. This role oversees the union’s People & Culture function, which delivers an effective employee experience through strategic and operational best practice, and also retains ownership of the union’s Welcome Desk and office management functions.
The role provides strategic support to the Senior Leadership Team in the implementation of the union’s strategy, specifically for the People & Culture Department, and supports the Operations Directorate to effectively deliver its strategy, enabling the union to fulfil its strategic aims.
