Riverview Junior School is a large 4 form entry, very friendly and successful Junior school on the outskirts of Gravesend.

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated Class Teacher with a passion for teaching and learning. This role will be on a part time basis for 2 days per week.

Information about the school

Riverview Junior School is a very popular four form entry Key Stage 2 school on a large site we share with the Infant School.

Our extensive site offers lots of opportunities for outdoor learning, including an outdoor library, two football pitches, MUGA, outdoor intervention area, animal farm and forest school, and we offer large well-resourced classrooms.

We are delighted to announce that our recent Ofsted inspection, carried out in February 2022, graded the school’s overall effectiveness as ‘Good’ with ‘Behaviour Attitudes’, ‘Personal Development and Leadership Management’ all being graded as Outstanding;.

We are now part of The Golden Thread Alliance and we work closely with the other schools in the trust.
