HR Officer / Human Resources Advisor who has a Generalist background with experience supporting managers and senior stakeholders covering employment legislation, recruitment, general policies and procedures is required for a well-established company based in Northampton, Northamptonshire, East Midlands.


SALARY: £30,000 pro rata + Benefits

LOCATION: Hybrid / Northampton, Northamptonshire, East Midlands

JOB TYPE: Part-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 20 – 25 Hours per Week (Flexible / Days to be Discussed During Interview)


JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an HR Officer / Human Resources Advisor who has a Generalist background with experience supporting managers and senior stakeholders covering employment legislation, recruitment, general policies and procedures.

Working as the HR Officer / Human Resources Advisor you will need to manage a wide range of responsibilities from Recruitment and Onboarding to Employee Relations, Policy Development, Training and Development etc.

As the HR Officer / Human Resources Advisor you will need to have excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload to meet the needs of the business.

DUTIES

Your duties as the HR Officer / Human Resources Advisor include:

• Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding new hires

• Employee Relations: Provide expert advice on a wide range of HR issues, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution

• Policy Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of HR policies and procedures that comply with current legislation

• Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate development programmes to enhance employee skills and career progression

• Compensation and Benefits: Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring employees receive accurate and timely compensation

• HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR reports for management


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as an HR Officer, HR Advisor, or similar role

• Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

• CIPD qualification or equivalent is desirable
