Key Responsibilities

  • Support the UK Head of Transport and Terminals in implementing strategic initiatives for logistics operations.
  • Manage logistics activities across primary and secondary transport routes to ensure effective distribution of bulk and cylinder LPG.
  • Lead the planning function, ensuring route optimisation is secured and managed daily while reviewing discrepancies between planned versus actual performance.
  • Create a culture of continuous improvement by coaching colleagues and ensuring accountability within the team.
  • Drive peak performance in safety, customer experience, supply chain optimisation, and financial targets through budget responsibility and KPI reporting.
  • Hold teams accountable for their performance against budget and company KPIs, facilitating regular reviews.
  • Lead the development of the UK Planning team, identifying capability gaps and promoting internal talent development.
  • Establish a scheduling centre of excellence, focusing on tools, processes, and people for best-in-class scheduling.
  • Manage budget responsibilities for all planning activities, ensuring financial targets are understood and achieved.


Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain operations, with at least 3 years in management and leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with high commercial acumen.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, strategic planning, decision-making, and contingency planning.
  • A focus on quality, efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with local HSSE regulations and cost management practices.
  • Exposure to SIOP processes is advantageous.
  • Direct experience with Fleet Management Tools and Route Planning Software Systems.
