SEN Teaching Assistant (Key Stage 1 & Year 6)
Location: Uckfield, East Sussex
Hours: 12:00 PM - 3:30 PM (Part-time)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Temporary with the potential to become permanent
Randstad, in partnership with a friendly primary school in Uckfield, is seeking a committed and flexible SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support for four children across different age groups and learning needs.
The Role:- Hours: 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
- Support Focus:
- Lunchtime: Assist two children in Key Stage 1 (Reception and Year 1).
- Afternoon Session: Provide 1:1 support to two children in Year 6. One child has ADHD, and the other experiences delayed learning, particularly with language development.
- Flexible Support: This role requires adaptability to work with children across different age ranges and needs.
- Experience: Prior experience working with children with SEN, particularly ADHD and language delays, is highly desirable.
- Patience and Adaptability: A nurturing and flexible approach to supporting children with varying needs in both learning and behavioral aspects.
