Are you passionate about history and enjoy a varied work schedule? Join our Archives & Local Studies Service and play an important role in making our heritage accessible.

As a Document Production Officer, you will be responsible for the daily production of documents for the public, maintaining the security and organisation of the strong rooms, and ensuring archives are correctly packaged and stored. Other responsibilities include liaising with the Collection Manager to ensure strong room standards and supporting service development alongside colleagues in the Archives & Local Studies team.

We are looking for someone with strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, customer service experience and excellent communication skills. Knowledge of family and local history sources, as well as ability to retrieve items using logical methods is essential.
