Job Description

Staff Nurse - Night Shifts (RGN/RMN)

Hourly Rate: £22.50 per hour plus paid breaks

Part-time or full-time considered (minimum of 2 nights per week)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Nurse (RGN/RMN) to join our client's team at their nursing home. The ideal candidate will be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) or a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to older adult patients during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid RGN or RMN qualification and valid UK NMC registration
• Proven experience in a nursing role, preferably in a night shift capacity
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in the nursing home setting

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to older adult patients during the night shift
• Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the medical team
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and report any significant changes to the appropriate staff
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans for older adults
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for older adult patients during the night
