Seeking a Data Integration Engineer with 2+ years' experience seeking a new challenge! If you have experience with APIs, ETL processes, data governance and you are an excellent communicator and knowledge of modern integration tools we want to hear from you!

(Please note you much have lived in the UK for 5 years to complete full security checks)

About You:

To excel in this role, you should have a strong technical background in data integration and a passion for data governance. You will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Your organizational skills will allow you to manage your workload effectively, taking ownership of projects from inception to completion.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven 2+ years' experience as an Integration Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of master data management and data governance principles.
  • Proficiency in data integration tools and ETL processes.
  • Ability to capture and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience working with APIs for integrations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead projects.
  • Alignment with the values of excellence, passion, integrity, and collaboration.

Desirable:

  • Experience with modern integration tools such as Boomi, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Fivetran, celigo, Informatica, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Kanban or sprint approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Implementation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data integration solutions, ensuring seamless data flow in alignment with master data management best practices.
  • Governance & Optimisation: Champion robust governance across interactions and master data management, and continuously monitor and optimise data integrations for performance and efficiency.
  • Master Data Management: Support the implementation and management of master data approaches, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data integration issues, establishing corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Best Practices & Support: Advocate for best practices in data integration and governance, providing guidance and support to the wider network of data practitioners across the business.
  • Continuous Improvement: Constructively challenge existing processes and propose new opportunities for improvement.
