Summary
Mansfield District Council is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join the crew at the Palace Theatre in the Technical team for the busy pantomime season as Casual Event Crew.
We’re keen to hear from applicants with a passion for theatre or the arts, preferably with experience of technical disciplines including sound, lighting, AV, stage or rigging.
Duties include assisting the technical team with rigging, de-rigging and running shows, helping visiting companies with their shows and various maintenance tasks. This would take place at Mansfield Palace Theatre and occasionally at Mansfield Museum or offsite.
Hours are variable in line with the demands of the shows. Most shifts are at the evening and weekend and there will be some daytime work.
Pantomime season is one of our busiest times of the year and therefore more shifts will be available during peak times in December and January.
