The wage for this role is £23,500 - £25,119 per annum plus weekend enhancement and a market pay supplement of £2000 per annum, which is reviewed on a biannual basis
Are you a confident individual who has great communication skills and enjoys interacting with the public? Do you enjoy working outdoors and being on the go? Do you want to work for a supportive organisation, which makes a positive impact on the local community. If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Parking Enforcement Officer where you will be responsible for advising on and enforcing the Authority’s traffic orders. This important role keeps our streets safe and our roads moving.
Main Duties of the Post
- Patrolling public streets and council car parks, advising on and ensuring consistent
application of traffic orders
- Respond to enquiries and provide advice to members of the public.
- To record and issue PCN’s using available or computerised systems.
- Collect and replace cash boxes at designated car parks.
- To check that parking signs, road markings and notices are in good condition.
Ideally, you will have:
- A love of working outdoors and being active
- Experience of interacting with members of the public
- The ability to communicate confidently with people from all walks of life.
- Ability to deal with confrontation situations
- Full training will be provided to the successful candidate
