Sustain Landscapes Ltd are a commercial landscaping and grounds maintenance company implementing projects and providing services across the North East Region. Our works include hard landscaping, soft landscaping, fencing, synthetic and natural sports surface installation and grounds maintenance.
We are passionate about creating and maintaining high quality, functional and inspiring environments. Our contracts are implemented in schools, universities, office and business premises as well as sports clubs and public open spaces.
Working from purpose-built premises in Consett, the Company continues to grow offering progression opportunities to all staff backed by a training and development programme.

Sustain Landscapes currently have a vacancy for a Landscape Foreperson/Teamleader. The selected candidate will work on landscape construction contracts and grounds maintenance contracts across the North East region.
Duties will include:
Receiving instruction from and relaying information to your manager
Client Liaison
Management and implementation of landscape contracts
Interpretation of drawings and specifications
Delegating tasks and instructing team members on site
Management of health and safety on site and maintenance of team discipline
Completion of required paperwork
Location
Sustain Landscapes Ltd, Delves Lane Industrial Estate, Hownsgill Drive, Consett, County Durham DH8 9HU.
Hours
Normal hours of work: 7:15am – 4:00pm, overtime and weekend work as required.
Holiday Entitlement
28 days including statutory holidays. A number of days are required to be reserved for Christmas Shutdown.
Essential Requirements:
Commercial soft landscaping experience
Full Driving Licence
CSCS or CPCS Card holder
Desirable Attributes:
Certification to use operator driven plant and machinery (Dumper, Excavator, Telehandler, Tractor).
Health & Safety and First Aid Certification
Driving Licence enabling use of trailer/ 7.5 tonne vehicle
Landscape industry qualifications
