Summary
Barts Assurance are the specialist in-house team responsible for delivering Internal Audit to Barts Health NHS Trust, one of the largest Hospital Groups in the country. The team also offers services to external clients, and in 2023 were proud to be shortlisted by the IIA in their Public Sector “Outstanding Team” category, whilst in 2022 the team won CIPFA’s national Public Finance award for “Excellence in Public Sector Audit”.

We are now looking for a talented and ambitious Assistant Director of Audit (band 8b) who can help us further develop and improve our service to clients. You will be a graduate with a professional CCAB qualification or equivalent, and substantial senior experience in an internal audit setting within the public or private sectors, including experience auditing within the NHS/Healthcare sector.
