Position: Delivery Van Driver / Fitter (Multi-Drop Delivery Technician)
Location: Hull, HU14 area
Starting Salary: £25,000 (with potential increase after permanent hire)
Are you a compassionate and responsible driver with a passion for helping others? We are currently looking for a Delivery Van Driver / Fitter (Multi-Drop Delivery Technician) to join our team. You will be delivering, collecting, and fitting essential NHS healthcare equipment in patients' homes, making a real difference in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect NHS medical equipment such as beds, air mattresses, and other devices
  • Fit and install equipment in patients' homes, ensuring it's ready for use
  • Perform simple repairs to medical equipment (full training and tool kit provided)
  • Provide compassionate support and excellent customer service to patients and families
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries and equipment
  • Adhere to safety regulations, including sticking to speed limits (vehicles are tracked for safety and compliance)
Requirements:
  • A valid driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Enhanced DBS check (required due to working with vulnerable individuals)
  • A compassionate nature with strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle and fit equipment (training on simple repairs provided)
  • Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
Working Hours:
  • Training Period (4 to 6 weeks): Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Post-Training: Monday to Sunday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM (Rest days: Wednesday & Sunday)
  • Potential overtime available as needed
