Are you a qualified physiotherapist looking to embark on a rewarding career? If so, join the team at Queen Victoria Hospital where you'll be supported as you empower our patients recovery within the therapies department.

This rotational post is an exciting opportunity for a new or existing Band 5 to join our team. This is a full time, permanent position that will provide you with the opportunity to develop skills within 4 highly specialist areas:
1. Hands and Plastics
2. Burns, Plastics and Head and Neck
3. MSK
4. Neurological Outpatients and Community

Interviews will be conducted face to face. Interview date to be confirmed soon.

You will assess and treat a caseload of patients within both inpatient and outpatient settings in order to maximise patient recovery and function. You will attend handover meetings, in-service training and MDT meetings.

You must have excellent clinical skills, be proactive and self-motivated, but most importantly have a passion for maintaining high standards of care for our patients.

To provide a high standard of physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions.

To assess, diagnose, plan and deliver individualised treatment programmes. To hold responsibility for a caseload, mostly working without direct supervision.

To participate in the on-call physiotherapy service, for which you will receive training prior to competency confirmation.

To participate in the supervision, education and assessment of the performance of therapy work experience/students, to a graduate standard and feedback to the senior member of staff.

To participate in the team’s development, training, audit and research programme.

To ensure the maintenance of a high standard of service provision, maximising patient recovery and function and developing the quality of the service.
