Job Description:
As a Fundraising Officer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing their fundraising strategy. You will be responsible for identifying and securing funding opportunities, building relationships with donors, and organising fundraising events. Your efforts will directly support their mission to enhance the educational experience and resources available to their students.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan.
  • Identify potential donors and funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, and individual contributions.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Plan and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns.
  • Prepare and submit grant applications and funding proposals.
  • Monitor and report on fundraising progress and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with school staff, volunteers, and the community to maximise fundraising efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, preferably within the education sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in using fundraising software and tools.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for education and community engagement.
