Summary


The St Helier Renal Outpatients Team are a friendly , experienced and approachable group who have good relations with both the patients and the consultants. We provide not only a reception service but also the health records to the clinical teams so they have all the relevant information available for the patients visits.

To provide an efficient, effective and positive reception service; to greet and welcome patients, visitors, members of the public and staff in a friendly, professional and courteous manner.
To answer telephones in accordance with departmental standards, ensuring that all telephones are answered and that all enquiries are dealt with in an efficient and courteous manner, to record any messages clearly and accurately delivered to them promptly.
To be responsible for the management of the medical records held in renal.
The role of the outpatient assistant is to serve as a contact for patients accessing our services. The role is therefore responsible for setting high standards of patient care by enacting the Trusts values at all times.
