Summary
Gi Group is working in partnership with one of the most trusted and successful parcel delivery business, which has an exciting opportunity for you to join their team as a self-employed driver.
Location: Basildon (SS14 3FU)
Pay rate - £117.00 per day with weekly pay
Hours of work:
* Working up to 9 hours per day, starting from 10am
* Full time and Part time available
* Up to 6 days max per 7 day working week
Start Date: As soon as possible
Training: 2-day introduction, 2 days out with a lead driver and built in training to a total of 11 days.
Self-Employed Driver Responsibilities include:
* Loading of vehicle each morning
* High volume deliveries following 3-week onboarding process
* Delivering to residential and commercial locations
* Adhering to standard work processes at all times
* New Mercedes Automatic & Manual Sprinter van provided fully insure
Self-Employed Driver Requirements:
* A full and valid UK Cat B Driving licence (manual licence)
* A maximum of 3 points on your licence
* A minimum of 2 years driving is essential
* A minimum of 6 months commercial van driving experience for Multi-Drop Delivery is preferred
* Driving licence must be in current home address.
* We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
* We're looking for someone with good people skills that are helpful and friendly
* You must be physically fit to be able to manually load parcels into a van (up to 25kg)
* You must be able to provide various documents for identity checks
