Crynodeb
Marchwood are looking for a hardworking reliable team player to work in our busy Chromatography Department. Applicants must be educated to at least HNC level in Science (ideally with Analytical Chemistry modules). No previous experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. Applicants with experience in Chromatography are welcome to apply. Core duties include:
-Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical instruments (GC/MS, HPLC, IC etc) as per training record.
-Data processing, calculation and reporting of results.
-Analysis of samples ensuring work is carried out to reporting deadlines.
-Understand and follow procedures provided, ensuring compliance with ISO 17025 (UKAS) and the internal Quality Management System.
-Method development, modification, and validation under supervision of senior personnel.
-Maintaining stocks of reagents and equipment.
