Crynodeb


The post holder will be in the Haringey Young Adults Transitions Team. This is a newly established team that is working to bridge the gap between CAMHS and Adult Mental Health Services.

Working with colleagues in the Community Teams to support clients aged 18-25 accessing Mental Health Support.


• Build a therapeutic relationship with young people using a person-centred approach and provide psychologically informed interventions.

• Work collaboratively with CAMHS and Core Locality Teams.
• Support clients to access local community resources and statutory services.

• To facilitate group work, under the supervision of senior staff and other clinical work as required.


• Supporting and educating Community Resources to develop mental health awareness and navigation


• Act as a mentor and role model for the ability to have a meaningful life for clients.


• Build relationships with the local community and statutory services and connect clients to those resources and support a ‘warm handover’.


• Record client clinical information on the BEH Trust’s electronic patient records system (RIO).

The partnership between Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust (C&I) is going from strength to strength since it was originally established in 2021 forming the North London Mental Health Partnership.

In order to meet the needs of the new Partnership services you may be required from time to time to work at different locations to your normal place of work. This may mean that you are required to work at any location that fall under Barnet, Enfield and Harringay Trust and Camden and Islington Trust. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at such other places or locations as it considers reasonable and necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
