Catering Lecturer

Meresyside

£28-31 pound per hour

Start date: 29th September 2024

13 hours teaching, 6 hours planning between Wednesday - Friday (Part time)

Job description

  • Teaching Level 1 and
  • A degree in Catering, would be suitable to teach the role- perfect part time opportunity
  • Working for an FE College in Merseyside

Responsibilities of Catering Lecturer:

  • Working in the Catering Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet standards of work
  • Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
  • 13 hours teaching, 6 hours planning between Wednesday - Friday

Core Purpose:

  • To teach students assigned to the teacher and to ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs.
  • To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.
  • To monitor and assess student progress to improve their quality of learning and personal growth

Requirements of a Business Lecturer:

  • A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent
  • Experience of delivering the subject.
  • A current DBS on the update service
