Summary
As one of our team of Bench Joiners you will be a part of a team that prides itself on its quality and craftsmanship. You will be a key member of the workshop team and will be involved in every step of our production process including material delivery and handling, production, quality control and workshop industrial hygiene.
Our joiners undertake a variety of tasks from traditional joinery including architectural products, doors, windows, custom furniture, cabinets and counters to building commercial washroom solutions in a workshop environment. Various woodworking machines are used in our production process including table saws, planers, chop saw, belt sanders and various hand tools.
Having completed a formal joinery or carpentry apprenticeship you will have secured employment in a joinery manufacturing environment. Personally, you will be punctual and reliable and take pride in your work with an exceptional eye for detail.
You should possess a qualification and a minimum of 10 years of experience in joinery. You will also have a positive attitude to workplace safety. You will find that you prefer the variety that comes with working in a small business where job descriptions have fluid boundaries and possess initiative and personal drive. We are looking for people with positive attitudes to work, life and working as part of a team and particularly for those wishing to work for a successful and thriving small business.
