The position of Class 1 Night Driver involves:
- Retail deliveries, delivering cages into customers storage areas at the stores.
- Using lifting double deck with tail lifts.
- Collecting backloads.
- Involves loading and unloading cages of stock.
- Involves airlock deliveries - operating store alarms as deliveries are when stores are closed.
- Lone working deliveries into the stores.
Essential skills required for Class 1 Night Driver:
- Must have a UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Due to the nature of the role applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking and self-motivated.
