Crynodeb
You will take specific responsibility for the financial administration for both the Examinations and Timetabling teams using the finance software E5 to manage orders and maintain accurate up to date financial records for the office. You will have a high attention to detail, able to respond to immediate finance requests and maintain accurate financial records. You will be processing the Invigilator claim forms for Payroll for processing ensuring claim forms correspond to University regulations.
This role will require onsite working for exam sessions, and the lead up to exams where required. The rest of the year, the role would be agile working, with 2 days per week at home, 3 days per week on campus.
This is a permanent, full time post, but consideration will be given for a 0.8FTE appointment.
To apply for the Deputy Examinations Manager role you should have:
- Experience managing or supervising large examinations at a school/college or University
- Substantial experience working in administration (ideally in an educational institution)
- Experience in management or supervision of staff
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team, but also able and willing to work on own initiative and learn new skills.
This role will not attract sufficient points to obtain a sponsored Skilled Worker visa under the points-based immigration system due to the minimum salary increase on 4 April 2024.
