Title: Warehouse Manager / Warehouse Shift Manager Our client, a leading Print and IT services provider based in Erdington, are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to join an expanding team in a period of growth, with a permanent position on offer after a successful trial period.
***Experience operating Forklift Trucks, Desired Flexi / Bendi license***
Responsibilities: Receive and process incoming stock and materials Pick and fill orders from stock Organise and maintain inventory in the warehouse Perform general warehouse duties, such as cleaning and organizing work areas Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks Use warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and complete tasks Ensure effective communication with all external Customers, peers, supervisors and management within the business and within the rest of the business as a whole Assist peers and all other staff when asked - this specifically refers to warehouse/stock/machine problems and/or requests made by supervisor/management Skills/Experience required: Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment preferably flexi trucks Ability to build and assemble products according to specifications Knowledge of proper load and unload techniques for safe handling of materials Some understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and their functionalities Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures in a warehouse environment Rate of pay: £13.46 - £14.42 per hour DOE Overtime paid at time and half Monday - Saturday and double time on Sunday
