Deputy Nursery Manager

Salary: Up to £31,000

40 hours per week

Our client is looking for a passionate and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join their fun and growing team. As a Deputy Nursery Manager you will play a crucial role in supporting the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff. Qualifications
  • Hold a Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior role within an early years setting, with a proven track record of strong leadership and management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures within the early years sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a firm commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
  • Solid understanding of child development and early education principles.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Nursery Manager to provide strong leadership and management for the nursery team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education for children.
  • Assist in overseeing the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and maintain strict compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Take an active role in staff training and development, providing guidance and leadership to foster a positive and inclusive working environment.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with families, promoting effective communication and partnership working.
  • Play a key role in the overall management of the nursery, including financial management, health and safety, and driving quality improvement.
