Senior Healthcare Assistant

Hourly Rate: £13.50

Night Shifts

44 hours per week

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our client's team on night shifts. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the night.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Health and Social Care or above
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Senior Healthcare Assistant
• Proven ability to deliver compassionate and person-centered care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to patients
• Providing practical and emotional support to patients and their families
• Monitoring and recording vital signs and reporting any concerns to the nursing staff
• Assisting with personal care and hygiene tasks
• Supporting patients with mobility and physical activities
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
• Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and team members
• Acting as a mentor and providing guidance to junior healthcare assistants
