Overview

We are seeking to appoint one Learning Support Assistant to start as soon as possible. Previous experience in a school is not a necessary requirement as we can offer in house training to the right person. We also welcome applications from experienced staff too.
If you are enthusiastic, caring and motivated then we need you to join our fantastic team of Learning Support Assistants! We offer training, professional development opportunities and also welcome applicants who are considering teacher training in the future.

Term time only

Salary details: £23,297 - £26,961 FTE (Range 1 to 2 depending on experience)

Contract type: Fixed Term

Hours: 8.30am to 3.15pm (30 minute lunchbreak)

About the role
You will:
• Be responsible for supporting the class teacher and year group
• Implementing learning and numeracy strategies within the classroom
• Monitor pupils’ responses to learning activities
• Have a high standard of literacy skills
• Have a solution focused attitude

• Have a fantastic group of eager learners!

About you
You will ideally have a Level 1 or higher certificate in 'Supporting Teaching and Learning In Schools' or equivalent and Grade 9-4 (A*to C) in Maths and English.

A positive outlook with the ability to build positive relationships with the children and colleagues is essential.
