We are seeking to recruit a technician to provide expertise and assistance in our outstanding Visual Arts team. We have achieved the Gold Arts Mark award and our Visual Arts department provides high quality resources and an excellent learning environment for our students. In this role you will assist staff in the preparation of materials and equipment, guide our students with the completion of practical work and provide training for the safe use of our machinery. You will also have the opportunity to identify and suggest areas for improvement within the department.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of health and safety within art and design, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to be supportive and work patiently with our students.
