We have an excellent opportunity to join forward-thinking people as an Administrator to support the Health & Safety Services Department.

We are looking for a proficient, reliable team member who can maintain confidentiality and prioritise many competing tasks to support the teams in delivering their services.

The Health & Safety Services Department is a passionate and enthusiastic small group of specialist advisers and trainers who support the Trust in keeping its staff safe whilst at work. There are three key teams for Health & Safety, Moving & Handling and FFP3 Resilience; we work Monday to Friday during core business hours (8 am to 5 pm), with some occasional out-of-hours work and training to support clinical colleagues.


You will;


Provide a comprehensive and confidential administrative and support service to the operational and strategic teams within the Health & Safety Services Department.
Support the administration of corporate meetings, producing and distributing notes/minutes and action trackers as appropriate.
Support the administration of all training courses delivered by the H&S Services teams.
Assist the advisers with the administration of incident reports, data capture and analysis.

You will;


- have very good literacy and numeracy skills and be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office.
- have an NVQ3 in Business Administration or equivalent level of knowledge and have a proven employment history in administrative/secretarial roles.
- have a proactive approach to managing and prioritising your workload with flexibility and the ability to work under pressure with competing tasks and tight deadlines.
- have the ability to pay attention to detail in your work and have a methodical approach to tasks.
- be expected to maintain confidentiality and trust as some of your work will be of a sensitive and confidential nature.
