A Vacancy at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
A remarkable chance has emerged to boost Sickle Cell network services in West London at St Mary's Hospital Paddington, London by providing administrative support for the patient and public voice group of the network alongside support for the multi-disciplinary team meeting of the Sickle Cell network. We seek versatile, dynamic, and dedicated self-starters for this dual role, committed to enhancing patient engagement for Sickle Cell services in West London offering an exceptional opportunity to make a tangible difference. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating administrative tasks, facilitating communications, and supporting the diverse needs of both the MDT and PPV group. You will have existing experience of patient engagement. A track record in delivering patient/public engagement events will be valued. The post holder will be an individual with a positive approach; able to problem solve; enjoy working with individuals and teams at all levels; able to demonstrate a broad understanding of patient engagement issues; have an understanding of action plan development and/or implementation. As part of this work the post holder will develop good local links with patient groups within the network. The network incorporates multiple provider partners so there will be a need for the post holder to develop collaborative links with other centres.
• Develop and maintain an accurate database of all key Haemoglobinopathy metrics for the West London HCC
• Support the network in making data returns related to the West London’s HCC’s service specification, this will include supporting audits that need to be completed for set timescales
• Lead on the return of data to NHS England and other external agencies, including National Haemoglobinopathy Registry and Peer Review
• Support the service to meet all required performance, quality and clinical metrics as dictated by national policy and standards. Ensure that this is appropriately evidenced in a robust manner suitable for external peer review.
• Maintain an up-to-date record of the Netowkr’s performance against the Haemoglobinopathy Quality Dashboard
• To manage the safe transfer of data out of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust within the Trust’s Information Governance policy standards and between Trusts within the network
• To create new databases or queries as additional parameters for storage and retrieval of information are identified.
• To work within the requirements of effective and legal data management with multiple trusts within the network.
