Hours: 12 hours per week – must be able to work the shift pattern outlined below.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful and forward-thinking person to join our team of Support Workers to support individuals within our service in Rockville.
About the Role:
Rockville is an extra care provision currently supporting 10 people. Some of the people we support only have background support and are supported by other providers. Havencare also provides additional 1:1 support for several of the people at Rockville, as support you will have a varied role, meeting the needs of the people we support in line with their care and support plans. The aim of the job role would be to work as part of the wider team, role modelling outstanding care and support needs for the individual, promoting individual’s independence, and maintaining and promoting life skills, as well as supporting their health and well-being needs and requirements.
You will be resilient with a positive outlook and have an upbeat approach to supporting people. You will be a great planner, organiser and motivator to support individuals with access to achieve an outcome focused support plan. You will be a great role model and be able to connect through great communication and drive towards accessing the community.
Applicants with experience of Learning Disabilities and complex needs is preferred but not essential. Previous experience of supporting people with complex needs in supported living or domiciliary support would be an advantage.

Comfortable to sit quietly and use compassionate and considerate techniques to engage them in activities.
Passion to live-life and lead more than a safe existence.
Naturally curious about neurodiverse human behaviour
Non-judgemental and focuses more on why something happened opposed to what happened.
About the usual working pattern:
Week 1:
Friday - 08.15-17.15
Week 2:
Monday - 08.15-13.15
Wednesday - 08.15-18.15
